Rules and Regulations for Robinson Cemetery

  • Cemetery Visiting Hours:  Dawn to Dusk
  • Fees for purchase of the lots shall be set by the Robinson Cemetery Board
  • No one person or their proxy may buy more than six individual graves per year.
  • Robinson Cemetery Association has the authority to correct or repair any grave, grave marker or crypt which has fallen into disrepair or neglect.
  • It is prohibited to bury two people in the same grave/lot.
  • All gravesites will require a permanent marker within two years of burial.
  • All monuments and markers shall have a minimum grass border of four inches in width.  Markers, including slants markers, up to twenty-four (24) inches long, shall have a foundation depth of twenty-four (24) inches.  Markers over twenty-four (24) inches long shall have a foundation depth of thirty (30) inches.  For monuments with die and base:  Dies under twenty-four (24) inches shall have a foundation depth of twenty-four (24) inches  Dies twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) inches long shall have a foundation dept of thirty (30 inches.  Dies over forty eight (48) inches long shall have a foundation depth of thirty-six (36) inches.  The minimum width of all dies shall be 16 inches wide.  No marker of monument shall be set on weekends or holidays.  Arrangements are to be made in advance with a Robinson Cemetery Board Member to be present when the footing is poured for the monument, or when monument is set.
  • For Proper Maintenance Reasons and Upkeep, Cemetery Staff May Remove Bouquets, Decorations and Bouquet Holders around Headstone except for side vases and those attached to headstones. (Except On Memorial Day, Christmas Day, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day).
  • Cemetery Staff May Remove Deteriorated And Derelict Copings, Fences, Concrete Curbs, Hedges, Etc., On Or Around Any Grave Or Cemetery Lot Declared A Nuisance.
  • It Is Prohibited To Construct Any Curb, Coping, Rail, Fence, Trellis, Or Plant Any Bush, Shrub or Tree to property on the cemetery grounds.
  • The Robinson Cemetery Association Board reserves the authority to enforce the aesthetics of the cemetery as they deem necessary to maintain the cemetery image.
  • Owners May Decorate Lots And Shall Remove All Rubbish While Observing The Rules & Regulations Of The Cemetery.
  • No Gardener, Florist or Other Similar Person Will Be Allowed to Work on Cemetery Lots Without the permission of The Robinson Cemetery Board.
  • A maximum speed limit of 10 miles per hour shall be observed at all times.
  • All Funerals Must Be Coordinated Through A Funeral Director.
  • The Robinson Cemetery Board shall Insure All Rules and Regulations Are Observed and Persons Found Damaging Any Property or Violating Any Rules Will Be Reported appropriate law enforcement and Prosecuted to the Fullest Extent of the Law.
